A fully armed Eaton County tactical team responded to a home in Bellevue after getting a 911 call this morning.
The Sheriff's Office says it was hard to hear the man on the phone, but dispatchers thought they heard the word "shooting." No one answered when they called back.
When deputies arrived at the home, on the 200 block of Catherine Street, no one answered the door. Eventually, the team made contact with someone inside, and learned there had been no assault of any sort. The area had been cleared as a precaution. One man was taken to Ingham County for a parole violation.
