The Board of Water and Light building on Cedar St. and Michigan Avenue had a small fire Saturday morning.
Firefighters say equipment was beging lowered into a confined space when the equipment caught fire.
Southbound Cedar Street was closed for about an hour while firefighters put out the flames and cleared the scene.
BWL Tells us the fire caused minimal smoke damage.
