LANSING - If you hear sirens go off in Lansing at about 1 o'clock Wednesday afternoon don't panic. The Lansing Fire Department Office of Emergency Management will be testing their tornado warning sirens Wednesday at 1PM. If there is severe weather tomorrow afternoon, the siren test will be postponed.

And if you are a weather radio listener, you'll be hearing a tornado drill at 1 o'clock. The National Weather Service will use NOAA Weather Radio All Hazards to conduct a statewide tornado drill. The national weather service will use the routine weekly test (RWT) on NOAA Weather Radio All Hazards to simulate an actual tornado warning.
