I hope they catch this guy! I am so sick and tired of hearing these nut ball motorcyclists going 100 plus miles down Cedar in the middle of the night! I appreciate the officer doing his job. Why didn't the motorocyclists stop? If he really had some sort of life threatening emergency, wouldn't common sense dictate to pull over and have the police officer help you? Don't you guys understand that the international sign of guilt is RUNNING AWAY!!!

No, but if your having a heart attack or some serious medical conditon, you can't stop to speak to the officer, that can be taken care of later on at the hospital.

So if we let everyone speed an not let the police chase after them, wouldn't that increase criminal activity?? Wouldn't this send the message "I can do anything I want as long as I am faster." How about accountability and following the law! What about being role models to our children?

Wow. A motorcyclist is clearly breaking the law and putting citizens at risk. A police officer, doing his job, tries to stop him and is in a serious accident, and you people actually criticize the officer? Absolutely incredible.

How is it the motorcyclist fault that the officer couldn't control his vehicle ? The motorcyclist may have had a emergency, he couldn't stop and tell the officer about it, the clock was ticking.
  • by Anonymous on Apr 8, 2012 at 03:36 AM this police officer was trying to chase a motorcycle that was speeding at over 120 mph...was he thinking that he was gonna catch him ?...his car goes 100 mph yah im thinking that two people broke the on the bike that was speeding..and the other for no use of common sense(chasing a bike you clearly arent going to catch) and putting the public in danger...well at least it was a tree...and not some kid playing in his yard

Wow, really? Blaming the no fault involved for the idiot going 120mph on his bike? Doesn't really matter if the guy on the bike would have plowed into someone else, because it still would have been the cops' fault, right? Good solutions Stan and Steven...reprimand the cop and try and get a discription of a bike going 120mph. Why don't you try that..see how good of a discription you can get when one goes by at that speed.

Just some FYI for the cops: Here's the thing, a 1500cc high performance bike can top speeds near 200 mph. your cruiser cannot catch us. Give up before you hurt yourself or somebody else. I have outrun police numerous times since the 1990's, and so have others in our bike club. Cars are too large and too heavy to maneuver like a bike.

Breaking the law is breaking the law! 120 mph is NOT a stupid traffic violation, and NO cop should be reprimanded for trying to stop some MORON driving at that speed and putting MANY people at risk!

I didn't think cops were supposed to chase someone at that speed?????? He should be reprimanded for putting himself and others at risk!
