ONEIDA TOWNSHIP - A man is hospitalized following an accident that closed down M-43 in Eaton County Tuesday morning. The collision happened at around 7:30AM at the intersection of M-43 (Grand Ledge Highway) and Oneida Road, just west of Grand Ledge. A west-facing van was turning south onto Oneida Road, when it was struck from behind by another van. The man driving the van which crashed from behind had to be extricated by the Grand Ledge Fire Department. He was rushed to Sparrow hospital with unknown injuries. The driver of the lead van was not hurt. M-43 was closed at Oneida Road for at least 2 hours. Eaton County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate.
