A sculpture will now sit in the park where the "Mayor of Old Town" used to love to walk.
Robert Busby owned the Creole Gallery and is credited with helping transform Old Town into an artistic hub. He was murdered in February 2007.
Sunday, people may gather to honor Busby's memory by planting a portion of the new sculpture garden.
The event will take place from 2-5 p.m. in Burchard Park, south of the parking lot at Turner St. and Grand River Ave.
News Ten's Lorne Fultonberg will bring you the story on News 10 at Six.
