Update: Protesters Arrested in Stockbridge

12 people have been arrested, including 4 demonstrators who had chained themselves to equipment being used by an oil company in rural eastern Ingham County.

A group of people had gathered outside Stockbridge to protest the construction of the Tar Sands pipeline 6B expansion project of the Enbridge corporation.

The group that is organizing the protest is the MI Coalition Against Tar Sands, according to their Facebook page.
