A News 10 "Voice of the Voter" poll shows Governor Rick Snyder pulling ahead of Democratic challenger Mark Schauer in Michigan's gubernatorial race. 44% of those polled say they'd vote for the Governor, 36% chose Schauer, a former Congressman from Battle Creek. 20% were still undecided. The last poll taken in May had Schauer with a 39% to 38% lead.

The same poll shows Democrat Gary Peters ahead of Republican Terri Lynn Land by a slim 38%-37% margin in the race for U.S. Senate with 25% undecided. Peters is a Congressman from Oakland County. Land is a former Secretary of State. The Senate seat is open because Democrat Carl Levin is retiring at the end of 2014.

The poll was conducted by EPIC-MRA and has a margin of error or +/- 4%.
