Downtown Lansing Evacuation Ends

Workers were allowed back into Lansing's City Hall, police headquarters and some state office buildings after a search failed to turn up a threat.

The evacuation was ordered after a bomb threat was called into City Hall.

Bomb squads and dogs made an extensive search of the buildings, but didn't find anything.

    I have no sense of humor with the idiots who find doing this just so much fun. i ealize that in this day and age we must be extra careful. But wouldn't it be fun to find the person who made the call and shake their teeth loose?

    The picture of the explosion is unnecessary and a bit extreme.

      Definitely agree. Should be something more like a picture of a phone...
