Driver responsible for deadly hit and run accident Monday night still at large.

Police say the vehicle pictured above, a light blue, newer model Chevy Cruze, is similar to the vehicle they believe was involved in the hit and run accident.

A late night hit and run Monday left one man dead in Lansing and now police are looking for the driver responsible.

Authorities said they're looking for a car similar to a light blue, newer model Chevrolet Cruze, which they said should have consider front-end damage from the hit.

The incident happened near the intersection of Michigan Ave. and Pennsylvania in front of Sparrow Hospital.

The victim was a 69 year old man on his bicycle. He was rushed to Sparrow but died shortly after arriving at the hospital.

"This is very frustrating," said Capt. Daryl Green with the Lansing Police Dept. "We would like to have the person involved with this traffic crash to come forward and be held accountable for it."

Police are also hoping that the multiple surveillance cameras in the area mounted on traffic signals and local businesses near the intersection will help identify the car and the driver.

"We have to figure out just exactly what was captured on those video cameras so we're still investigating the matter," Green said.
