Lansing Police are looking for a man who took a woman's laptop computer Sunday night.
The victim, a 47-year-old woman who lives on the 2000 block of Ferrol, opened her door after hearing a knock at about 8 p.m.
Upon opening the door, a man with a knife forced his way in and demanded her laptop.
He then ran once given the laptop.
The victim was not hurt.
Police and a K9 unit traced the man to the 3400 block of Simkin, but were not able to find the suspect.
He is a black man, about 50 years old, with a stocky build.
He was wearing dark gray sweatpants, a dark gray coat, and a dark stocking hat.
Investigators say he may be connected to another man seen earlier on Ferrol.
He is a black man, about 30 years old, with a goatee, a thin build and "average" height.
He was carrying a shovel, wearing a tan coat and gray sweatpants.
