DEARBORN, Mich. (AP) -- Police have confirmed that a body found in a wooded area in a Detroit suburb is a 20-year-old woman believed to have been abducted from a nearby store.
Dearborn police say the identity of Brenna Machus was confirmed Thursday, a few hours after the body was recovered less than 2 miles from the Family Dollar where she was last seen alive.
Machus was an assistant manager at the Family Dollar in Dearborn. She had been missing since Monday night, when a 20-year-old co-worker was fatally shot at the store. Joseph Orlando's body was found Tuesday when other employees reported to work.
Police are looking for a man who waved and wore dark clothes and a hood over his head as he entered the store Monday.
