The car chase started at the Magnuson Hotel on Pennsylvania Avenue and ended near the corner of Pennsylvania and Cedar with one man in custody.

Four departments, Michigan State Police, U.S. Marshals, Michigan Department of Corrections and the Lansing Police Department went after a male parole absconder.

"He was in a vehicle. When we went to stop him, he fled in the vehicle. From there he went up over a curb onto Cedar. When he got onto Cedar, both his tires had been flattened from when he went over the curb. At that point, he went into a little bit of spin and almost rolled over but didn't and came to a stop," said State Police Sgt. John Faccio.

State police said the man will be in custody at the Eaton County Jail and could be facing drug related charges.

Isn't the Magnussen hotel at Penn & Cedar? So, did they just chase him through the parking lot or what? Or, maybe he turned south and the chase lasted about half a block?
