Local bakeries are busy whipping up as many paczki as possible for Fat Tuesday. People will load up on the fattening treats before the fasting for Lent begins tomorrow.
The jelly and cream filled pastries are being made at many local bakeries, including Hinkley's Bakery in Jackson.
Staff at Hinkley's have been working around the clock to make more than 600 dozen paczki, all hand rolled with fillings made from scratch.
Hinkley's Bakery normally is not open on Tuesday, but made an exception for one of their busiest days of the year.
News 10's Caroline Vandergriff was live at Hinkley's for the morning rush - watch the videos for more.
