Olivet Youth Football Team Honored by Harlem Globetrotters

“This is the first time we’ve given Junior Phenom awards to an entire team, but every member of the Olivet Middle School football team is deserving of this honor, as they all demonstrated what it means to be goodwill ambassadors.  They are a team we all can look up to.”

The Harlem Globetrotters are coming back to the Breslin Center this year and more than a dozen kids are going to be able to see them for free.

The basketball team is hooking every player on the Olivet middle school football team with tickets for its January 24th game.

They wanted to do something special after seeing the story on the special play the team created for Keith Orr who has a learning disability. If you want to learn more about what the Olivet players did for their teammate, click the link at the end of this story.

Each player was also named a "Junior Phenom" for their amazing teamwork and character.
