Theater students at Vandercook Lake High School will hit the stage this morning, rehearsing for their first musical with a special drama teacher from Broadway.
Back in May, the theater department won a prize package worth $10,000 in NBC's Smash "Make a Musical" competition. That package included money to perform a musical, funds for costumes, and classes from New York-based teachers.
One of those drama teachers is in Jackson County right now, and will be on stage this morning with Vandercook Lake Students - singing, dancing and showing students the right moves for their upcoming spring musical.
