LANSING (WILX)--The woman found shot to death in the Red Cedar River suffered multiple shots to the torso and face according to Lansing Police Investigator Brian Curtis.

Curtis testified in court Friday morning for the preliminary hearing of 19 year old Derrick Martin from Flint. Martin is accused of shooting 22 year old Schnee Hyon Sin in December.

Sin's body was found floating near Crego Park at Mount Hope and Aurelius December 8th 2012.

No connection between Sin and Martin was made at the preliminary hearing.

Martins cousin, Devin Allen Scott Wilson also testified. He told prosecutors that Martin said that he had "hurt" a girl the day of the murder, and took him down to the river to show him the body.

We will have more information about the hearing tonight at 6pm.
