TOLEDO, Ohio -- The mother of three missing Michigan boys still believes they will come home alive even though it has been a year since they were last seen with their now-jailed father at his home near the Michigan-Ohio state line.
Tanya Zuvers tells The Blade newspaper in Toledo that she has never lost hope that the boys are out there.
Nine-year-old Andrew, 7-year-old Alexander and 5-year-old Tanner have not been seen since last Thanksgiving when they were at their father's home in Morenci, Mich.
Their father John Skelton was sentenced to up to 15 years in prison after pleading no contest to unlawful imprisonment.
Zuvers says she always keeps her cell phone within reach waiting for a call that the boys have been found.
