Jamie Jones can spend hours on end sitting right here.

"Literally 12 hours on just one thing, one case," he said. "I'll take it and go over it again and again."

He's the lead investigator and dog handler for the Michigan-based foundation Missing You. It's his job to track down missing persons.

"We sleep very lightly so if someone called at two in the morning we would definitely take the call," Jones said.

The non-profit relies on help from other groups like Guardian Digital Forensics in North Carolina.

"We have sent hard drives to him. We have sent cell phones to him to gather data," he said. "We have not a lot of money to work with so we depend on grants and donations."

Missing You's scent dog was donated when he was just eight weeks old. Now Rocco is almost two years old and he's been trained to track down any scent.

Jones and Rocco spent last week searching for the three young boys missing from Morenci.

"It gets real emotional cause we have kids and grandkids too," he said.

Missing You has also jumped on the search for Tonia Stiles, missing from Grass Lake. Michigan State Police have their own investigators, but say they appreciate all the help they can get, and so do a lot of Jones' Facebook friends.

Many of them post on his page thanking him and Missing You for their work.

He says social media helps him get the word out about missing persons.

"On facebook it can go global really fast," he said.

The group has had success in bringing missing persons back home safely, but every case is different.
