Hundreds of Michigan National Guard technicians who were furloughed by the federal government because of the budget stalemate will return to their jobs Tuesday.
The technicians were sent home last Tuesday after Congress failed to reach a budget agreement that would continue their paychecks.
The Guard members will report to duty beginning Tuesday.
The recall is the result of legislation passed this weekend known as Pay Our Military Act.
