PORT HURON, Mich. (AP) -- A Port Huron-area woman charged with making a false report of rape and tampering with evidence has been ordered to trial.

Sara Ylen accused two men of sexual assault at her Lexington home last September, but authorities say an attack didn't happen.

A doctor testified Tuesday that he used gauze to examine her injuries and found that makeup was used to create phony bruises. A Port Huron judge found probable cause to send the case to trial.

Ylen's credibility has been questioned before. A man who spent nearly a decade in prison after being convicted of raping her was released last fall.

In another pending case, Ylen is charged with fraud in Sanilac County. She's accused of deceiving an insurance company and the public into believing she had cancer.
