Police tell us a man is dead after a standoff with police in Perry Sunday evening on North Clearwater Drive.
He was alone in the house threatening to injure himself, as Michigan State Police, the Bomb Squad and Perry Police surrounded the home.
Police tried to contact him through phone calls and video camera robots.
Police eventually made their way into the home and found the man dead from a self inflicted wound.
No one else was hurt, police will release his name after contacting all family members.
