LANSING - Mayor Virg Bernero, real estate developers, and members of the Sault Tribe will hold a press conference in Lansing tomorrow concerning plans for building a casino in downtown Lansing. The press release does not specify what development will be announced but they are calling it a "step forward." The mayor's office had said earlier this year they have a self-imposed deadline of November 1 for the purchase of the land for the proposed casino by the tribe.
We will have a crew the Thursday press conference and bring you the latest developments at wilx.com and on our News 10 newscast that evening.
