Saturday marks a new beginning for Lansing's St. Vincent de Paul store.
More than a month after losing everything in a devastating fire, the non-profit is reopening at a new location, 5206 S. Cedar.
Doors opened at 10 a.m.
Recalling the massive damage, staff say they're grateful the community has been so supportive.
The store has gotten lots of donations, including a major gift from Michigan retailer, Meijer.
Meijer donated nearly $10,000 to help get St. Vincent's back up and running.
"It's made us... again, keenly aware that there are a lot of really good people in this community, that really have the eyes and hearts of the poor in mind and they want to do the best thing they can for the less fortunate," Marcia Barrons, with St. Vincent de Paul said.
