Lake Trust Credit Union will build a new headquarters in Brighton to replace its current facility in downtown Lansing.
Lake Trust says it will move its staff in Lansing to Brighton, which would affect 150 people.
It's not yet known what Lake Trust will do with its Lansing building.
The new facility could open in 2015.
The new $30 million dollar headquarters will be on U.S. 23 near I-96.
The credit union also plans to invest $40 million in its facilities over the next five years.

Why are they doing this? Most of their customers are state employees in the Lansing area. I'm sure us members will be paying for this money wasting move.
