"we've also set up a series of employment workshops we do at every one of these... so they can speak with someone who will help them refine their resume and get a one on one interview experience in a mock setting, so they can be aready when they actually sit down and talk with these employers."
More than one hundred veterans, their spouses and reserve members took advantage of a job fair just for military members today.
Organizers say this job fair is different from others because the employers are required to have open positions to participate.
One of the biggest challenges for veterans is translating their military skills into the real world -- something they could also get help with at today's hiring event.
More than 18-thousand veterans have been hired as a direct result of these job fairs since they started in March, 2011.
