GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip (AP) -- The leader of Hamas says the cease-fire deal with Israel includes agreement to open all border crossings with the Gaza Strip, including with Egypt.
Khaled Mashaal spoke to reporters after Wednesday's truce deal was announced with both sides promising to halt attacks on each other and ease an Israeli blockade after eight days of fierce fighting.
The agreement calls for "opening the crossings and facilitating the movement of people and transfer of goods, and refraining from restricting residents' free movement."
Mashaal says that includes the key Rafah crossing with Egypt.
