Free Thanksgiving Meals for Those in Need

No one should have to eat alone on Thanksgiving and there are plenty of places offering free meals today.

A free turkey dinner will be served at St. Peter Catholic Church in Eaton Rapids today from noon to 3 p.m. The church is located on East Knight St.

A community meal will also be served in Grand Ledge from 1-3p.m. at the Grand Ledge Masonic Temple.

A hot meal will be served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Tabernacle of David church on West Holmes Rd. in Lansing.

Turkey and all the trimmings are free at Lansing's Cristo Rey Community Center as well. Dinner will be served from noon until 1:30 p.m.
