"When I saw Billy Bass on the floor I knew something was really up," Allen said. "And when I tried to close the door and it wouldn't close at all I just knew that Billy Bass had done his job, and let somebody know that it wasn't just empty or something."

KTTC) A singing fish may have stopped someone attempting to break into a Rochester, Minnesota business.

Tom Allen owns Hooked on Fishing.

He said he left his business after 4:30 p.m. Sunday and believes someone tried to break into the business that evening.

When Allen arrived the next day the door was open. He said that didn't worry him because he thought an employee had arrived before him.

But it was Billy Bass on the store floor that raised some concern.

"When I saw Billy Bass on the floor I knew something was really up," Allen said. "And when I tried to close the door and it wouldn't close at all I just knew that Billy Bass had done his job, and let somebody know that it wasn't just empty or something."
