FLINT, Mich. (AP) -- The operators of Flint's public transit system say they're investigating an accident in which a bus struck and critically injured a 73-year-old woman as she crossed a street.
The crash happened about 11:45 a.m. Saturday.
Mass Transportation Authority General Manager Ed Benning says it's a rare kind of accident for his agency and says it hopes the best for the woman, who was in critical condition at Hurley Medical Center.
Benning says the male driver will undergo a drug test as the Federal Transit Administration requires.
