The search is on for a missing time capsule buried on the property of the former Bingham Elementary School.
It was put somewhere on the grounds in the late 1950s or early 1960s. The community hopes it can be found before the school is demolished as part of Sparrow Hospital's expansion.
A Lansing company brought in its ground-penetrating radar to help with the search Wednesday.
A spokesperson for Sparrow Hospital says the search will continue as the project goes on, and they'll do whatever they can to find the time capsule and return it to the Bingham community.
