LANSING - More gunfire reported on the streets of Lansing Monday. Less than four hours following a shooting on the east side of Lansing, a car crashes on the north side in what is thought to be a car-to-car shooting incident.
Police were called to the 300 block of N. Butler Blvd at around 3:30 P.M. on a report of shots being fired. When police arrived they found a Grand Am had crashed into a pole, and the driver was injured. The condition of the driver was not immediately known.
Police were told that a passenger in the vehicle ran away. It is unknown if police were able to locate that person.
Police initially were searching the area for a maroon colored, 4-door Impala, believed to be occupied by two males.
The investigation continues.
At 11:45A.M. Police were called to a shooting in the 1400 bock of East Kalamazoo Street. There the driver was wounded by gunfire, and crashed into a tree. It's unknown the exact circumstances the driver was hit by gunfire.
