MERIDIAN TWP - On Monday, March 25, 2013, at 11:45 a.m., Meridian Township Police responded to a report of a bank robbery at Independent Bank in the 2100 block of Hamilton Road. A white male suspect, wearing a dress shirt and tie, sunglasses and a driving cap had entered the bank and approached a teller with a note demanding cash.
