MERIDIAN TWP - On Monday, March 25, 2013, at 11:45 a.m., Meridian Township Police responded to a report of a bank robbery at Independent Bank in the 2100 block of Hamilton Road. A white male suspect, wearing a dress shirt and tie, sunglasses and a driving cap had entered the bank and approached a teller with a note demanding cash. The teller complied with the note and provided the suspect with an undisclosed amount of money.

The thief fled on foot in an unknown direction. K-9 units from Lansing Police Department and the Michigan State Police tracked the robber to a nearby parking lot, where police dogs lost the track.

The suspect remains at-large. He is described as a white male, mid-twenties, approximately 5'10", thin build, possibly having brown hair. Again, he was smartly dressed; wearing a black driving cap, mirrored sunglasses, a black dress coat, a tie, khaki pants, and white Nike athletic shoes.

Police are seeking assistance from anyone having information regarding this crime. Please contact the Meridian Township Police at (517) 853-4800 or Crime Stoppers at (517) 483-STOP.

Smartly dressed, but stupid! He's not wearing gloves so I bet they were able to get fingerprints off the door, or somewhere else. Plus, he didn't conceal himself very well at all. If someone knows this guy and they see his picture, he's history. It's just a matter of time before they catch this moron.
