Christy Gibbs with the Girl Scouts Badgerland council also says the organization takes no position on controversial topics, like abortion and birth control... And that's in no way the focus of the program aimed at enriching young girls' lives.
It may be your favorite sweet snack but one Wisconsin organization is asking its members to pass on the thin mints.
Pro-Lfe Wisconsin sent out a newsletter, asking its members to not support the girl scouts and their cookie sales.

The letter also claims only 15 percent of the money from local cookies sales goes to the troop... And that the rest goes to the regional and national levels.
But the local Badgerland council says all the money raised locally from cookie sales stays local.
