There was yet another rally outside the Capitol Wednesday, this time busloads of professionals, autoworkers, seniors, and teachers, protested what they call an all-out attack on working families by the Snyder Administration.

"He sold himself as being non partisan," Bob King, president of the UAW, said, "and he's taking extreme actions that are anti-democratic and anti-middle class.

This rally was by far the largest rally yet, three thousand or so people outside, who then filtered inside.

"This is what democracy looks like!" The crowd chanted inside the rotunda.

"Our governor is taking away our rights to vote our people in, he decides he'll be judge and jury," Marty Boatman said.

"It's a direct attack on working class people, not just unions, everyone," Schad Bartlett said.

The chants of "this is our house" could be heard on the House floor just as session began Wednesday afternoon. No doubt the Governor saw the crowds outside from his post across the street at the Romney Building, so News Ten asked, is he listening?

"It's part of the democratic process and I appreciate it," Gov. Snyder said. "We're asking for shared sacrifice from a lot of people."

The Governor said he welcomes the protesters as long as everyone is respectful and remains non-violent.

Snyder calls this 'the emotional reaction' to change, he hopes down the road people step back and look at the whole picture.

"I hope they take the time to do their homework and research and take time to look at the overall benefit here," he said. "The bottom line in the longer term, is we need to grow our economy."

The Governor said he's moving forward with his proposals, next up will be the tax package. Protesters said they're in it for the long haul too, to make sure their voices are heard.

"It's our right to do this," Bartlett said.

Tuesday night protesters tried to stay overnight inside the Capitol, but the state police would not allow it. It's rumored they will try again Wednesday night, but it's unlikely to happen because the Governor was asked about it, he said "there's a better way to prove your point."
