TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (AP) -- The wife of Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney is calling on supporters in northern Michigan to turn out the vote on election day.
Ann Romney made a stop in Traverse City to rally the faithful Monday. She tells a cheering audience her husband will carry Michigan, where polls have shown Obama ahead but Romney within striking distance.
Appearing with her were U.S. Rep. Dan Benishek and state Attorney General Bill Schuette.
Romney planned to attend an event in Grand Rapids later in the day. She and her husband are Michigan natives.
She was in Detroit on Sunday night to watch Game 4 of the World Series, where the San Francisco Giants completed their sweep of the Tigers.

search youtube for "Why I voted for Obama". There is a bunch of brainless idiots that can't tell the interviewer where Obama stands on one single issue. 1930's Germany saw an excellent speaker swoon an entire nation with promises of HOPE for a new prosperous and strong Germany as well as Economic CHANGE that would lift the German people out a their great depression. I guess history will repeat itself at the hands of American Ignorance. Look up the life cycle of Democracy. WE ARE at/between the stages of Apathy and Dependence. If Obama wins 2012 you people better start learning French, Chinese, and German. Also, learn how to properly bow to the kings and rulers of foriegn nations like the sheep you are. I'll check in with you after its been four years of a frechman or Chinaman telling you what you can and cannot do. The only place you will find the constitution or bill of rights is on a roll of charmin.

DJ I agree with you. I have a hard time when they say "this is all you people need to know". Guess that shows they don't have much regard for the average person but want their vote.

Ann Romney is arrogant and patronizing, just like her husband. They sneer at people who are not rich like they are. They don't have a clue what it is like to live like the working class, and live within their means.

I wonder if she made a big speech reminding all of us how her husband said "let the auto industry fail?"

She needs to get out of Michigan and stay out. Both her and that thing called her husband are both worthless and need to stay away.
