Militants in western Afghanistan killed at least 10 people at a road construction site. Nine of which were construction workers- the last being a police officer.
Officials say the militants fired rocket-propelled grenades and automatic weapons at the 32-mile long project site run by an Afghan-German company.
The company is managed by the Public Works Ministry.
Development projects, most of which receive foreign funding, are frequently targeted by insurgents.
So far, no one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
