Authorities Call Fire at Bingo Hall "Suspicious"
The fire broke out just after 1:30am at the Glass Palace on Lansing's south side.

An early morning fire at a bingo hall on Lansing's south side is now being called suspicious.
Firefighters were met with heavy smoke when they arrived at the Glass Palace on Holmes Road just after 1:30a.m.
Flames were shooting from the kitchen area. Crews were able to quickly put them out.
Initial damages are estimated at around $40,000 but could be higher.
Authorities suspect arson.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
