Meridian Township Police are releasing the names of the three people found murdered Monday in a Gibson Ave. home. The victims are the residents of the home, 57-year-old Anthony John Urbanik, his 56-year-old wife Diane Thelen Urbanik and their 13-year-old son Anthony Andrew Urbanik.
Police still aren't saying how or when they were killed although they will say their bodies were found in different rooms of the house part of what some say was a gruesome scene. Two days after the bodies were found, Michigan State Police crime scene investigators continue to collect evidence.
Meantime staff at MacDonald Middle School, the school 13-year-old Anthony attended, are preparing for crisis counseling once school starts. Counselors will be available throughout the first week of school.
