An Ingham County prosecutor has filed charges in the accident, which took the life of two Holt teens from Monday night.
Thirty-four-year-old Andrew Gilespi of Mason faces eight charges, including two charges of second degree murder or the alternative of two charges of driving while intoxicated causing death.
Gilespi faces four other charges of driving while intoxicated causing injury. The second-degree murder charges carry a possible sentence of life in prison or any number of years.
At the time of the incident, Gilespi was on probation for misdemeanor assault and under order by the court not to possess or consume alcohol. He was arraigned while still in the hospital on Friday.
