Livingston County authorities say a motorcyclist who was run over by a semi truck along Interstate 96 has died.
Sheriff Bob Bezotte tells WILX.com 53 year old Dennis Denham of Ypsilanti was traveling eastbound on I-96 near the weigh station between Webberville and Fowlerville about 10:20 a.m. Friday when witnesses saw him duck below the windshield.
The man lost control of the motorcycle after striking the semi, went under the tires and was run over. The driver of the truck was not injured.
Deham was wearing a helmet. Speed and alcohol do not appear to be contributing factors to the wreck.
