Michigan Postcard Scene Celebrates Two Decades

A Grand Haven landmark is celebrating its 20th year.

The Grand Haven Boardwalk extends two and a-half miles from the South Pierhead Lighthouse on Lake Michigan up the Grand River. The structure was dedicated this day in 1984.

The board is featured on postcards and various promotional materials for the city. Officials say millions of people have walked it over the years.
