A Lansing city employee has been charged with embezzlement. Toni Glasscoe is accused of stealing $20,000 from the city's trash bag accounts.
Glasscoe was fired last week after working as a public service employee for 20 years. The city called in a private accounting firm to find the missing money.
If convicted, Glasscoe could spend 10 years behind bars.
