Albion Teachers Could Face Layoffs

As many as nine teachers in the Albion Public School District can now be laid off.

The board passed a resolution last night, that will allow it to pinkslip teachers if need be.

School board members say they're not happy about layoffs, and will only issue pinkslips if there is a change in funding between now and the end of the school year.

The superintendent says the district needs to save about $700,000 for the next school year, and cutting programs is not an option.

I love how the "realist" left his/her name. Last time I checked any teachers name could be found easily, along with their salaries, test scores, on-line evaluations, etc.

Hey Dropout, do you even know what socialism is? Stay off my roads, and stop drinking my municipal water, and further more... take your kids out of my Public Schools. I can tell you suffer from the Pebkac virus... you should get that checked out.

It is about time they become realist instead of socialist.
