Wednesday both the state house and senate approved a six percent casino tax increase. The revenue generated will help fill the state's $110 million budget deficit next year.

The revenue generated is expected to be around $50 million.

State legislators say they still need to find about $60 to $65 million in cuts.

The bill now goes to the Governor's office.
