A former assistant principal accused of having sexual contact with a 15-year-old student has pleaded guilty in the case.

Prosecutors had charged Troy Guzikowski with first- and second-degree criminal sexual conduct. The 43-year-old educator pleaded guilty Friday to first degree criminal sexual conduct.

Guzikowski was assistant principal at Reed City High School at the time.

As part of the plea agreement, Guzikowski will get seven to 11 years in prison rather than life.

He'll be sentenced at the end of the month.

When we do not allow people to speak openly about their personal faith as part of their teaching style, we open the doors for pervert to do their evil bidding.

These sick people ought to but put away. This is sick behavior and there should be no out for any of them. A life sentence would be good.

I hope the teacher that visited Hiroshima had time on her way or coming home to stop at Pearl Harbor where it all began.
