Army National Guard members are enjoying time with their families after their recent tour of duty.
About 50 members of the 107th Quartermaster Battalion returned to Jackson Saturday night after having been in Kuwait since last August.
The soldiers have been supporting war operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Family members told Newsten they were very proud at the sight of the returning troops.
"Oh we have a lot of pride for all our children, and for all our soldiers fighting in this war overseas, whether in Afghanistan or Iraq," said Robert Hess as he welcomed home his daughter.
Mr. Hess says he will be more content once his son, a Marine serving in Iraq, finishes his tour of duty.
