British Airways has canceled thousands of flights this weekend due to a three day strike by the air carrier's cabin crew.
The airline's ticket counters and check-in areas were empty at some of Europe's biggest airports Saturday.
The airline did charter planes from rival airlines, drafted volunteer crews and rebooked some passengers to keep a few of its customers happy.
Talks between the airline's management and workers over cost cutting measures collapsed Friday.
