Still no suspects as the Lansing Police Department continues with extra effort in hopes of quickly finding who murdered 13-year-old Amber Dietz. Amber's body was discovered by her brother Tuesday evening at the family's home on Olds Avenue, apparently she'd been stabbed to death.

Lansing Police D/Sgt. Noel Garcia says almost his entire detective bureau plus crime scene investigators are working on the case and now it's up to the Michigan State Police Forensic Laboratory staff to sort through what's been collected at the crime scene.

There's no telling how long it will take state police to analyze all of the evidence. Lt. Thomas Dirlam of the MSP Forensic Science Division says it could take weeks or it could take months because of the complexity of what may have to happen.
